Lamar
Lamar is a small community with a rich heritage. Surrounding Lamar are windy prairies and wide open spaces. Wheat, alfalfa and corn fields are the predominant agriculture in the area and the semi-arid climate is ideal for livestock production. Lamar is the industrial and retail center for the southeastern region of Colorado.
